How Mindflow uses AI, and where it doesn't

Mindflow Marketing uses AI tools every day, in specific places, and a person is responsible for everything that goes out. This page lists each use: what the tool does, who checks the result, and what we never use AI for.

What we never use AI for

  • Writing reviews. We never write reviews, and we never offer your customers anything in return for one. We never set up review requests that go only to happy customers.
  • Faking real work. AI images never show a specific job, crew or result as if it were real.
  • Copying people. We never clone or synthesize anyone's face or voice without their documented consent.
  • Publishing unchecked pages. No AI draft goes live on this site without a person checking it. Review replies post automatically only if you choose that, after you've tested the drafts.
03

Review replies: how drafts and approval work

When a new review comes in, Mindflow's tool reads it and drafts a reply tailored to that review. At first, you approve each reply before it posts. Once you've tested the drafts and you're happy with them, you can choose to let replies post automatically. Which way it works is your choice. More on our review program.

How AI was used in our research

In our research, AI answers are what we measured. We asked the OpenAI API, with web search on, the questions a homeowner would ask, then counted which businesses and sources the answers named. One more pass with the same model labelled whether an answer raised doubt about a business. The counting and matching rules are written down, applied the same way to every check, and published on our methodology page. The same kind of record checks are part of our AI search optimization work. The ChatGPT app may answer differently from the API.

05

The tools we use

  • The OpenAI API (model `gpt-5`) for collecting research answers, with web search on, and for labelling them, with web search off.
  • AI writing and coding assistants (Claude by Anthropic and OpenAI Codex) for drafting pages and building this site.
  • Mindflow's own review-reply tool for drafting replies to clients' reviews.

We update this list when the tools change.

What Google says about AI-written pages

Google's guidance on generative AI content says AI-assisted pages must meet the standards of its Search Essentials and spam policies. It says to "manually factcheck and review all AI-generated content for accuracy and trustworthiness before publishing," and suggests telling readers how content was created. It also warns that using AI to "generate many pages without adding value for users" may break its spam policies. Our process follows that guidance.
