Quick answer

What does marketing for a roofing company need to do?

A roof is a big job, so homeowners check before they call: reviews, licensing, manufacturer certifications and photos of real roofs. AI tools asked about a named roofer cite many of the same records. Marketing for a roofer has to put you in front of them in your towns and make your services, credentials and finished work easy to verify.

What makes roofing marketing different?

Roofing work comes in waves, gets compared on proof and usually starts with an inspection. Storm work calls for preparation. Replacement buyers need relevant proof and a clear way to request an inspection, often from a phone. We plan your profile and pages for both.

  • Demand arrives in waves.Storms and hail bring a rush of searches at once; your profile, service pages and phone have to be ready before the weather, not after. We get your storm-repair pages and profile current before the season.
  • Replacement buyers compare.A replacement is a big decision, so homeowners read reviews, look for photos of finished roofs and check certifications before they request an inspection. We put finished-roof photos and your certifications on the pages those buyers land on.
  • Inspections are the first step. Most roofer homepages offer a free inspection or estimate; few show any online booking option. We make the inspection request clear and easy on a phone.
  • Lead services re-sell leads.Roofers in our research describe lead services that re-sell leads in slow times, and leads that mostly went nowhere.

Case study

Case study: a fence company, from one county to Metro Atlanta

The problem

"we struggled to generate consistent leads online and were invisible in search results."

The work

SEO and web design over an 8-year partnership, plus reputation management.

The results Zack Goekjian (CEO) describes in his testimonial
  • "Within the first year, our website started ranking for competitive keywords like 'Atlanta fence installation' and 'Atlanta fence company'"
  • 250% more qualified leads
  • from 1 county to several across Metro Atlanta
  • from 5 people to 12
  • reputation work that helped maintain a 4.9-star average rating.

These are Zack's own figures from his testimonial, not numbers we measured. Results depend on your market and starting point.

Which sources did ChatGPT cite when asked about a named roofer?

In our October 2026 study, we asked ChatGPT (API, with web search) whether named roofing contractors were legitimate and good to hire, two answers per business. The answers most often cited the BBB, license records and the company's own website, and, in many, manufacturer, certification or trade-body pages.

What do roofing websites and profiles show?

Across 546 saved roofer homepages, most offered a free inspection or estimate, but few showed any online booking option. Reviews come in slowly in roofing. Among roofers in the Google Maps top three, the 37 that ChatGPT named when asked who to call had a median of 7 new Google reviews in the last 90 days; the 102 it didn't name had 4.5.

When do roofing searches peak?

Nationally, roofing searches peak in September. City averages differ, for example January in Atlanta and March in Dallas, but storms can move a single year's busiest month a long way. We plan around your own market's history, not a national calendar, and time new pages and profile updates to it.

  2. One plan, not five vendors.

SEO, AI answers, reviews and conversion work are planned together, so nothing falls between agencies.

  3. Built for home-service companies.

We've worked with a Georgia fence company for 8 years. Read what its CEO says below.

What clients say

"Mindflow Marketing has been our digital partner for 8 years, and they've been instrumental in transforming Precision Fenceworks from a small local operation to the established fence company we are today. … What impresses me most is how Youssef takes the time to understand the fencing industry specifically, not just generic marketing. I'd recommend Mindflow Marketing to any home service business looking for a digital partner who delivers measurable results and genuinely cares about your business growth."

Before we talk

Questions roofers ask

Do you take on storm and insurance-claim roofers?
Yes. Storm work needs pages and a profile that are ready before the weather, and clear information about how you handle inspections and claims. We build and keep those current. We don't handle the insurance side of a job, and we never promise storm leads.
Should I keep buying roofing leads?
That's your call; they're a different model. Some lead services send the same request to several roofers. We help generate calls and inspection requests through your own Google Business Profile, website and reviews, and Mindflow doesn't sell or share them. Your monthly report shows what your tracking records.
Do manufacturer certifications help online?
In our study, ChatGPT's answers about named roofers cited a manufacturer, certification or trade-body page in 892 of 1,500 answers. We make sure your certifications are accurate and visible on your site and profile. We can't say how much any single listing weighs.
Do you take on commercial roofers?
Yes, if your work is on properties in your service area. Commercial roofing buyers, such as property managers and facility owners, compare differently from homeowners, so we plan pages around the roof types and buyers you name, and tell you where our research, which is mostly residential searches, doesn't reach.
When should we start before the busy season?
Start planning before your busy months, so new pages and profile updates are in place when searches rise. The table above shows each city's four-year average; we agree priorities and timing for your own market, because a storm year can shift the peak.
How long does SEO take?
Usually months, not weeks. How fast depends on your competitors and on how complete your Business Profile and site are today.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. No one can guarantee a spot on Google or in an AI answer. We show you the work and the results.
Is AI SEO extra?
No. AI search optimization is included in SEO in every plan.
Am I locked into a contract?
The first 90 days are committed and billed monthly. After that it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
Who owns my accounts and website?
You do. Every account stays in your name, and website files and copy are yours once paid.
Will you work with my competitor?
No. We won't work with your direct competitor in your area.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If yours can't turn visits into calls, we'll say so and quote a site separately.
Do you run Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads?
Case by case. Our plans cover SEO, AI search, your Google Business Profile, reviews and conversion. When paid ads fit your market and goals, we scope Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads in your proposal. Ad spend goes to the platform and isn't part of our fee.
