FOUNDER-LED

Mindflow Marketing was founded by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, and he runs every engagement personally.

NO AUSTIN OFFICE

Mindflow works from one place: Atlanta, Georgia. There is no Mindflow office in Austin and no address for us here, because none exists. Our one real location is here.

PRICING IN PUBLIC

Every rate is on the pricing page. You need no quote call from us to learn what this costs.

ONE PER CATEGORY

One company per metro in each service category. Your Austin competitor cannot buy the same seat.

What is AI visibility, and how is it different from SEO?

AI visibility, also called answer engine optimization or AEO, is the practice of getting a business named inside AI-generated answers. SEO earns a ranked link a buyer clicks. AEO earns a mention inside the answer itself, in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, where no click may ever happen.

The two run on overlapping machinery. Google states that its generative features are rooted in its core Search ranking and quality systems, so a page has to be indexed and eligible before it can be quoted. Classic SEO is the floor, not an alternative to it.

What sits above that floor is different work. An assistant is choosing which Austin businesses to name, and it draws on how clearly your company is defined as an entity, how consistently it is described across the web, what independent sources say about it, and whether your pages answer the question in a passage it can lift whole.

Nobody can force a recommendation. Mindflow Marketing builds the entity footprint, the citable pages and the review base the assistants draw on, then scores where you land on twelve frozen buying questions across three platforms each quarter, with the screenshots archived and dated.

THE MARKET

What actually shapes an Austin search plan?

Three conditions separate Austin from the other big Texas metros: where its newest housing sits, a pre-sale energy ordinance that puts a written HVAC grade in a buyer's hand, and a permit desk on its own adopted codes.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
  • The Austin metro median build year is 2002, nine years newer than Houston, DFW and San Antonio
  • That gap is entirely suburban; the city of Austin reads 1994 and is 56.6% renter
  • The ECAD ordinance puts a written HVAC age and condition grade on qualifying pre-sale homes
  • A standard re-roof is usually permit-exempt; a fence over seven feet needs one
Austin operating conditions, checked 2026-07-28 against the ordinances, codes and agencies named in each row
Condition What it is Source
Housing age, metroOn ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metro has a median year of construction of 2002. Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio all read 1993 on the same table and vintage.US Census ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, all four metros on the same table and vintage
Housing age and tenure, cityThe city of Austin reads 1994, one year off the other metros. The city is also 56.6% renter and only 43.4% single-family detached, against 58.3% owner-occupancy and 59.0% detached across the metro.US Census ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, city and metro
Pre-sale energy auditAustin's Energy Conservation Audit and Disclosure ordinance, No. 20081106-047 of 6 November 2008 and amended by No. 20110421-002 of 21 April 2011, requires a professional energy audit before the sale of any home ten years or older served by Austin Energy inside the city limits.City of Austin ordinance Nos. 20081106-047 and 20110421-002
What the audit coversThe audit is performed by a certified RESNET rater or BPI building analyst, stays valid for ten years, must reach the buyer at least three days before the end of the option period, and covers HVAC system efficiency, age and condition, envelope and duct performance, and attic insulation.Austin Energy ECAD guidance
Roof permit exemptionAustin's published list of work exempt from building permits includes asphalt shingles replacing existing asphalt shingles, and replacement of any roof covering that does not adversely affect the roof structure. Both exemptions fall away in the Wildland-Urban Interface area when 50% or more of the roofing is replaced.City of Austin work exempt from building permits
Fence permit triggerUnder City Code 25-2-899 and Ordinance No. 20230720-156, a permit is required if the fence sits in a floodplain, exceeds seven feet at any point, or exceeds six feet on residential property along a City right of way, the last also needing a Board of Adjustment variance.City of Austin City Code 25-2-899; Ordinance No. 20230720-156
Technical codes in forceFrom 10 July 2025 Austin runs the 2024 Uniform Mechanical and Plumbing Codes from IAPMO, alongside the 2024 IRC and the 2023 NEC.City of Austin adopted technical codes effective 10 July 2025
Contractor registrationContractors must also register with Building and Trade Contractor Services before any building or trade permit is issued.City of Austin Building and Trade Contractor Services

What we read from that, and this part is our judgement rather than anything the sources state: Nine years newer than every peer is a real structural difference. The whole of that difference lives outside the city. For a home-service business the addressable market is overwhelmingly the suburban ring, and it is young.

Still our reading and not the sources: Newer stock shifts the work mix toward maintenance, efficiency and warranty-adjacent work rather than wholesale replacement, and it means the first big replacement wave for a 2002-median metro is arriving now.

The ordinance reading is ours too, not the City's. Read that as a demand event rather than a regulation. Every qualifying sale generates a third-party document naming the condition of the HVAC system and the ducts, handed to a buyer who still has a repair-request mechanism and leverage.

It is calendar-predictable, address-identifiable and bounded precisely by the Austin Energy service territory inside the city limits, which is the older half of the market rather than the newer suburban ring.

One more thing worth knowing before quoting: from 10 July 2025 Austin runs the 2024 Uniform Mechanical and Plumbing Codes from IAPMO rather than the International codes most of Texas uses, alongside the 2024 IRC and the 2023 NEC.

Sources: US Census ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, tables B25003, B25024, B25035, B19013, for the city of Austin and the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metro area, with Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metros pulled on the same table and vintage for comparison. NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals 1991–2020, station USW00013958 (Austin Camp Mabry). City of Austin Energy Conservation Audit and Disclosure ordinance Nos. 20081106-047 and 20110421-002, and Austin Energy ECAD guidance. City of Austin work exempt from building permits, fencing regulations under City Code 25-2-899 and Ordinance No. 20230720-156, and adopted technical codes effective 10 July 2025. Checked 2026-07-28.

What does Mindflow Marketing deliver for an Austin company?

We run five pillars inside one engagement: local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility, reputation and brand SERP, and conversion tracking. Each is reported with the denominator beside the number.

Local SEO and Google Maps

Google Business Profile work and map-grid tracking read across the Austin metro, not off a single pin, because losing on trust signals and losing on distance need different fixes.

Organic search

Technical foundations, site architecture and the searches that turn into high-ticket Austin jobs, built from the work you closed and not from a keyword tool.

AI visibility and entity work

Entity disambiguation, organisation schema, knowledge-graph alignment, and passages we write so an assistant can lift them whole. This decides whether ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews name your Austin company.

Reputation and brand SERP

What a buyer and an assistant both see when they search your name. Review velocity and recency move it more than raw volume.

Conversion tracking

Calls and forms tracked through to the booked job, because visibility that never reaches one still costs you the months it took to build.

Measurement you can audit

Share of Answer across twelve frozen buying questions, three platforms, three runs each, scored quarterly with the screenshots archived and dated.

Read the full method

Rankings are never guaranteed. Anything we could not trace to a primary source is absent from this page, not estimated. The audit runs the same six layers described on the pricing page, and Share of Answer is scored quarterly.

HOW WE MEASURE IT

Where does every figure on this page come from?

Unverified figures are omitted, never guessed. Some of these market pages are thinner as a result, which is the same trade we make in every client report.

Cost per lead, conversion rate, local benchmark: absent. They move by market and by season, so publishing them would mean publishing something wrong. Your account has the real number and the calculators do the arithmetic.

Our documented results are in home services. The measurement protocol is public before you spend anything. Six layers, the sampling method, one full report with nothing redacted. We guarantee no rankings.

How the first 90 days work

Every engagement opens with a diagnostic, not a pitch. The first 90 days set a baseline you can hold us to, fix what is broken, and put the first measured movement on the record.

  1. Free Visibility Check. The twelve real buying questions for your trade, asked across Google Maps, Google and the assistants. You get the screenshots, and no call is required.
  2. Local Visibility Audit. Crawlability and indexation, entity and schema state, map-grid position across the metro, review base, competitive gap. We deliver it written, with the working shown.
  3. Baseline measurement. Share of Answer scored before any work begins, so the starting number is in writing and cannot be revised later.
  4. Foundations, weeks 1 to 6. Technical fixes, entity and organisation schema, Google Business Profile, and the pages that answer what Austin buyers ask.
  5. Authority and content, weeks 4 to 12. Citable pages, review systems, and the off-site corroboration assistants use to decide whether a company is real.
  6. First remeasurement. The same twelve questions, the same conditions, scored against the baseline. Movement or no movement, both go in the report.

PUBLISHED RESULTS

What has Mindflow Marketing actually produced?

Two clients have given written permission to publish their numbers, and neither is a company of this market. Precision Fenceworks is a Georgia fence company, verified live 2026-06-16. Fireside Antiques is an antiques eCommerce dealer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, its Search Console and Ahrefs data pulled 2026-06-10.

PRECISION FENCEWORKS · GEORGIA

In Athens, where it ranks second in the map pack and third organic, Precision Fenceworks is named by three of the four major assistants, with Perplexity as its first pick. In Alpharetta, first organic and third in the map pack, beaten on distance and not on trust signals. In Lawrenceville, page one organic, no map presence.

87 AI mentions across 72 cited pages, and 631 Precision Fenceworks reviews at a 4.9 average.

In Atlanta the same client has no reachable map presence against 100,000-plus impressions in sixteen months. Their pin sits in Alpharetta, proximity decides the Google map pack, and no page moves a building.

FIRESIDE ANTIQUES · LOUISIANA

Five of eight tracked core terms ranking strong, with dining tables, armoires, mirrors and coffee tables all recovered to first position.

A national catalogue, not a local service business, which is why it sits here as evidence of method and no kind of forecast for an Austin contractor. The full eCommerce record is here.

Neither published client is a company of this market, and we are not going to imply otherwise. What transfers is the method: the audit, the frozen questions, the stated denominators and the work ledger. What does not transfer is a promise about your own street.

What we cannot show: revenue, lead volume and job values for the fencing client, and sales and revenue for Fireside Antiques. Neither permission covers it. So we cannot tell you whether this visibility became money, and we would rather say that than let a chart imply it. Two clients is not a large portfolio and we are not going to present it as one.

What does SEO and AI visibility cost in Austin?

We publish every rate. A Visibility Check is free. A Local Visibility Audit is $3,500 to $7,500 and credits against your first invoice if you start a monthly partnership within 30 calendar days of delivery. The monthly partnership starts at $3,500 a month on a 90-day initial term, then runs month to month. No setup fee and no annual contract.

The credit caps at that first invoice and does not carry forward. At the bottom of the range a $3,500 audit against a $3,500 first month costs you nothing if you continue. At the top, a $7,500 audit against a $3,500 first month credits $3,500 and the remainder is spent. We would rather you ran that sum at your own desk than found it on an invoice.

The full ladder, with what sits inside each tier, is on the pricing page.

Which Austin areas and industries does Mindflow Marketing serve?

We serve the Austin metro from Atlanta: Downtown, East Austin, Hyde Park, Mueller, South Congress, Westlake, Circle C, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos and Lakeway, across Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties.

We work with established home-services companies in roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fencing, garage door and remodeling, plus high-value legal, specialty healthcare and considered-purchase eCommerce. The thread is deal value: one won job has to pay for months of the work.

Austin sits inside a wider state picture. Licensing, advertising-disclosure rules and market conditions apply across Texas. Read the Texas market notes.

Reading by trade across the state: HVAC marketing in Texas, roofing marketing in Texas, with sector notes under home services.

What do Austin owners ask us before they sign?

Do you have an office in Austin?

No. We work from Atlanta and serve Austin remotely, and there is no address for us here because none exists. We will not rent a mailbox to look local, since a fake address is the kind of thing that gets a Google Business Profile suspended. Every meeting is remote.

Who does SEO and AI visibility for businesses in Austin?

Mindflow Marketing, a founder-led SEO and AEO agency run by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, from Atlanta. He runs every engagement across local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility, reputation and conversion, reported with the denominator beside every number and Share of Answer scored quarterly.

Do you have any Austin clients you can show me?

Not yet. The two clients who have given permission to publish are in Georgia and Louisiana, and neither is a company of this market. Both records are linked here, so you can judge the method yourself. If a named local result is what you need before signing, you should know that now.

Will you work with my competitor in Austin?

No. One company per metro in each service category. If an Austin roofing company signs first, we turn down every other Austin roofer for the life of that engagement, including better-funded ones. It caps how large this agency can grow, and we accept that deliberately.

What is ECAD and why does it matter to a contractor?

It is Austin's pre-sale energy audit ordinance. Homes ten years or older served by Austin Energy inside the city need an audit before sale, and the audit grades HVAC age and condition, ducts and attic insulation. It creates a predictable, document-backed demand moment during the option period.

Where does your business show up in Austin right now?

We ask the twelve real buying questions for your trade across Google Maps, Google and the AI assistants. Free, with screenshots, and no call required to receive it.
