GEORGIA · STATE MARKET

Search & AI visibility in Georgia

The one state where we are actually based. Market conditions, the advertising-disclosure rule that catches contractors out, and how we work here.

Where we actually are

Mindflow works from one place: Atlanta, Georgia. We do not keep an office in Georgia, and you will not find an address for us here, because there isn't one. What we do have is a client base across the Southeast and a practice built for markets we serve rather than markets we sit in. Our one real location is here.

Trades that must show a licence number in ads
Key takeaways
  • Our only staffed office is in Atlanta, every other market on this site is a service area, stated plainly
  • Georgia's licence-number-in-advertising rule covers Chapter 14 trades only, not residential or general contractors
  • The statute names yellow pages and newspapers, not websites, we follow the practice anyway, but we won't misstate the law
  • Three separate licensing boards govern HVAC, electrical and plumbing
MARKET CONDITIONS

What the Georgia market actually looks like

Georgia is the one market in this list where Mindflow is not a visitor. The company is based in Atlanta, has a verified Google Business Profile there, and has worked in the metro long enough that the local search landscape is familiar rather than researched.

That matters less than people assume for ranking and more than people assume for judgement. Being in a market does not make a page rank. It does mean we have watched the same competitors move for years, and we know which of them are actually good and which of them simply bought a lot of links in 2019.

COMPLIANCE

The Georgia advertising rule that catches people out

Georgia requires a licence number in advertising for Chapter 14 trades only. Heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, low-voltage and utility contracting. Residential and general contractors are not covered by the same requirement, and neither are the exempt specialties. The authority is the Georgia Secretary of State's Professional Licensing Boards Division, and the rule sits at O.C.G.A. §43-14-9(b) with Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 121-3-.05(d).

Here is the part worth reading twice. The statute names yellow pages and newspapers. It was drafted around print and has never been amended to name websites. We include the licence number on every page and profile we build regardless, because it is good practice and it costs nothing, but we will not tell a Georgia client that state law requires it on their website, because that is not what the rule says. Agencies assert this constantly. It is not true, and a client who repeats it to their lawyer looks poorly advised.

HVAC sits under the Georgia State Board of Conditioned Air Contractors, electrical under the State Board of Electrical Contractors, and plumbing under the Division of Master and Journeyman Plumbers, three separate boards, three separate lookups, one common error where agencies cite the wrong one.

State rules set the floor. What actually differs between these markets is climate, housing stock, storm exposure and which body issues the permit.

WHO THIS IS FOR

The businesses we work with in Georgia

The thread is not industry. It is deal value. Every engagement we take has a customer worth enough that one won job pays for months of the work, and a buying journey long enough that search and AI answers sit inside it.

  • Home services. regional and multi-location HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, fencing, garage door and remodeling companies. This is the vertical where our documented results are
  • High-value legal. firms where a single matter carries real value and the buying journey runs weeks, not minutes
  • Specialty healthcare. multi-location practices and medical aesthetics, where consultation volume and reputation move together
  • Considered-purchase eCommerce. high-AOV, brand-led retail with a researched purchase, rather than commodity or marketplace-dependent selling
How we measure it

No case studies on this page, and that is deliberate

We are not going to show you another agency's logo wall. Our documented results are in home services, and we say so on every page rather than implying transferable outcomes we have not earned in a vertical.

What we can show you is the method, in full, before you pay anything: the six-layer audit, the sampling protocol we score visibility with, and a real report with the numbers left in. No ranking guarantees. Just transparent measurement and documented work.

FAIR QUESTIONS

Fair questions about working with us in Georgia

Are you actually based in Georgia?

Yes. Atlanta, with a verified Google Business Profile. It is the only location where that is true, and every other market page on this site says so explicitly.

Does Georgia law require my licence number on my website?

Not as written. O.C.G.A. §43-14-9(b) covers Chapter 14 trades and names yellow pages and newspapers. The rule predates the modern web and has not been amended. We include the number anyway as practice, but we won't tell you the law requires something it doesn't say.

Do you only work with home-services companies here?

No. Home services is where our documented results are, and we say that plainly. We also work with legal, specialty healthcare and considered-purchase eCommerce businesses that meet the same deal-value threshold.
