SEO & AI SEARCH AGENCY · ROOFING IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

Houston Roofing SEO and AI Visibility Agency

Mindflow Marketing helps Houston roofing companies get found on Google and named by the AI engines buyers now ask first: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Founder-led, served from Atlanta, with published pricing and a measurement protocol you can read before you spend a dollar.

Texas will not licence a roofer, and it will tell you exactly how to word an insurance job. That sets the shape of every page and every ad we build here.

FOUNDER-LED

Mindflow Marketing was founded by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, and he runs every engagement personally.

NO HOUSTON OFFICE

The office is in Atlanta and Houston is served remotely. We will not open a mailbox to look local.

PRICING IN PUBLIC

Every rate is on the pricing page. No quote call required to learn what this costs.

ONE PER CATEGORY

One company per metro in each service category. The roofer down the road from you in Houston cannot buy the same seat.

WHERE WE ACTUALLY ARE

Mindflow works from one place: Atlanta, Georgia. There is no Mindflow office in Houston and no address for us here, because none exists. This is a market we serve rather than a market we sit in. Our one real location is here.

What is AI visibility, and how is it different from SEO?

AI visibility, also called answer engine optimization or AEO, is the practice of getting a business named inside AI-generated answers. SEO earns a ranked link a buyer clicks. AEO earns a mention inside the answer itself, in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, where no click may ever happen.

The two run on overlapping machinery. Google states that its generative features are rooted in its core Search ranking and quality systems, so a page has to be indexed and eligible before it can be quoted. Classic SEO is the floor, not an alternative to it.

What sits above that floor is different work. An assistant is choosing which Houston roofing companies to name, and it draws on how clearly your company is defined as an entity, how consistently it is described across the web, what independent sources say about it, and whether your pages answer the question in a passage it can lift whole.

Nobody can force a recommendation. Mindflow Marketing builds the entity footprint, the citable pages and the review base the assistants draw on, then scores where you land on twelve frozen buying questions across three platforms each quarter, with the screenshots archived and dated.

THE MARKET

What actually shapes a Houston roofing search plan?

Texas does not license roofing contractors. What Texas regulates instead is the insurance-funded contract. Around that sit a city with no zoning, a county permit desk of its own, a storm record with a hole in it, and a city and metro whose housing barely match.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
  • Texas does not license roofing contractors
  • Insurance-funded contracts of $1,000 or more need a statutory notice in 12-point bold
  • Helping an insured avoid a deductible is a Class B misdemeanor
  • The storm database holds no Harris County record for Hurricane Beryl

Housing stockThe city of Houston records a median year of construction of 1981 and the metro 1992. Single-family detached is 43.0% of city units against 62.6% metro-wide, and owner-occupancy 42.0% against 61.2%.US Census ACS 2019–2023 five-year estimates, tables B25035, B25024 and B25003
Household incomeMedian household income runs $62,894 in the city against $80,458 across the metro, roughly $17,500 apart.US Census ACS 2019–2023 five-year estimates, table B19013; the $17,500 gap is Mindflow arithmetic on those two figures, not a Census-published number

What we read from that, and this part is our judgement rather than anything the sources state: everything below this line is ours, not a claim any body named in the table publishes.

The teeth are in the second half. Any offer to waive, absorb, cover or rebate a deductible is a criminal exposure rather than a marketing choice, and that language still appears in roofing advertising across the state.

The permit boundary is still real. Without a zoning map to make the city limit legible, a company working both sides needs a jurisdiction check before quoting.

On storm exposure, the record is thinner than the market assumes. Any roofing pitch built on a database storm count here is built on a count that misses a hurricane.

For roofing that gap is the whole targeting decision. Detached, owner-occupied housing is where a re-roof is sold to the person living under it. Inside the city limits most housing is neither, so a majority of city roofing decisions run through a landlord, a property manager or a body corporate. The same roof is a different purchase on either side of that line.

Figures are carried from the primary sources cited on our Houston market page: US Census ACS 2019–2023 five-year estimates, tables B25003, B25024, B25035 and B19013; NOAA NCEI Storm Events Database for Harris County 2015–2024, counting individual reports rather than distinct storms and holding no record for Hurricane Beryl; City of Houston Planning and Development Chapter 42; the Harris County Office of the County Engineer permit list. Texas House Bill 2102, 86th Legislature 2019, effective 1 September 2019, adding Insurance Code Chapter 707 and amending Business and Commerce Code section 27.02. What does Mindflow Marketing deliver for a Houston roofing company?

Five pillars run together inside one engagement: local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility, reputation and brand SERP, and conversion tracking. Each is reported with the denominator beside the number, so a figure can be checked instead of believed.

Local SEO and Google Maps

Google Business Profile optimisation and map-grid tracking read across Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Brazoria, not off one pin. A grid shows whether you lose on trust signals or on distance. Those have different fixes.

Organic search

Technical foundations, site architecture and the searches that turn into re-roofs and storm repairs, built from the work you closed. Keyword-tool pages rank you in counties your crews will never drive to.

AI visibility and entity work

Entity disambiguation, organisation schema, knowledge-graph alignment and passages an assistant can lift whole. This decides whether ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews name your Houston roofing company or a competitor.

Reputation and brand SERP

What a buyer and an assistant both see when they search your name. With no state roofing register to point at, a Houston roofer proves trust with reviews, one consistent name, and a page saying who runs the company.

Conversion tracking

Calls and forms tracked through to the booked job. Visibility that never reaches a booked job still costs you the months it took to build.

Measurement you can audit

Share of Answer across twelve frozen buying questions, three platforms, three runs each, scored out of twelve with screenshots archived and dated.

Read the full method

Rankings are never guaranteed. Anything we could not trace to a primary source is absent from this page, not estimated. The audit runs the same six layers described on the pricing page, and Share of Answer is scored quarterly.

HOW WE MEASURE IT

Every figure on this page has a source and a date

No cost per lead, no conversion rate, no local benchmark appears below. Those three shift by market and by season, and a published version would already be wrong. Pull yours from your own account and let the calculators do the rest.

You read the protocol first, then decide. Six layers, the sampling method, a real report with the numbers left in. Ranking promises are absent by design.

The methodology The calculators

How the first 90 days work

Every Mindflow Marketing engagement opens with a diagnostic, not a pitch. The first 90 days set a baseline you can hold us to, fix what is structurally broken, and put the first measured movement on the record.

  1. Free Visibility Check. The twelve real buying questions a Houston roofing buyer asks, put to Google Maps, Google and the assistants. You get the screenshots. No call required.
  2. Local Visibility Audit. Crawlability and indexation, entity and schema state, map-grid position across Harris County, review base, competitive gap. Delivered written, with the working shown.
  3. Compliance read on the copy. I read your site, your ads and your contract notice against the deductible rule above before anything new goes live.
  4. Baseline measurement. Share of Answer scored before any work begins, so the starting number exists in writing and cannot be revised later.
  5. Foundations and authority, weeks 1 to 12. Technical fixes, entity and organisation schema, Google Business Profile, citable pages, review systems, and the off-site corroboration assistants rely on.
  6. First remeasurement. The same twelve questions, the same conditions, scored against the baseline. Movement or no movement, both go in the report.

PUBLISHED RESULTS

What has Mindflow Marketing actually produced?

Two clients have given written permission to publish their numbers, and neither one is a Houston company or a roofing company. Precision Fenceworks is a Georgia fence company working Athens, Alpharetta, Atlanta and Gwinnett, verified live 2026-06-16. Fireside Antiques is an eCommerce antiques dealer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Search Console and Ahrefs data pulled 2026-06-10.

PRECISION FENCEWORKS · GEORGIA

In Athens, where it ranks second in the map pack and third organic, Precision Fenceworks is named by three of the four major assistants, with Perplexity giving them as its first pick. 87 AI mentions across 72 cited pages, and 631 Precision Fenceworks reviews at a 4.9 average.

In Alpharetta the same client is first organic and third in the map pack, beaten on proximity and not on trust signals. In Lawrenceville it sits page one organic with zero map presence.

In Atlanta the same client has no reachable map presence against 100,000-plus impressions in sixteen months. Their pin sits in Alpharetta, proximity decides the Google map pack, and no page moves a building.

FIRESIDE ANTIQUES · LOUISIANA

Five of eight tracked core terms ranking strong, with dining tables, armoires, mirrors and coffee tables all recovered to first position after a ranking dip.

A national eCommerce catalogue, not a local service business, which is why it sits here as evidence of method and not as a forecast for a Houston roofer. The full record is on the eCommerce results page.

Neither published client is a company of this market, and Mindflow Marketing is not going to imply otherwise. What transfers between markets is the method: the audit, the frozen questions, the stated denominators and the work ledger. What does not transfer is a promise about your own street.

What we cannot show either: revenue, lead volume and job values. Neither client’s permission covers it. So we cannot tell you whether this visibility became money, and we would rather say that than let a chart imply it. Two clients is not a large portfolio and we are not going to present it as one.

What does roofing SEO and AI visibility cost in Houston?

Mindflow Marketing publishes every rate. A Visibility Check is free. A Local Visibility Audit is $3,500 to $7,500 and credits against your first invoice if you start a monthly partnership within 30 calendar days of delivery. The monthly partnership starts at $3,500 a month on a 90-day initial term, then runs month to month. No setup fee and no annual contract.

The credit caps at that first invoice and does not carry forward. At the bottom of the range a $3,500 audit against a $3,500 first month costs you nothing if you continue. At the top, a $7,500 audit against a $3,500 first month credits $3,500 and the remainder is spent. We would rather you ran that sum at your own desk than found it on an invoice.

The full ladder, with what sits inside each tier, is on the pricing page.

Which Houston areas and industries does Mindflow Marketing serve?

Mindflow Marketing serves the Houston metro remotely from Atlanta, covering Downtown, Midtown, the Heights, Montrose, River Oaks, Memorial, Bellaire and Clear Lake, out through Pasadena, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, The Woodlands, Spring, Cypress, Atascocita, Baytown, Conroe and Channelview, across Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Brazoria counties.

Roofing is the focus here. The wider practice covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fencing, garage door and remodeling, plus high-value legal, specialty healthcare and considered-purchase eCommerce. The thread is deal value: one won job has to pay for months of the work.

This page covers roofing specifically. The wider market picture for this city, covering climate, housing stock, storm exposure and which body issues the permit, sits on the Houston market page, and the state rules are on the Texas page.

Houston roofing SEO and AI visibility: what do owners ask before signing?

Do you have an office in Houston?

No. Mindflow Marketing works from Atlanta and serves Houston remotely. We will not rent a mailbox to look local, because a fake address is the kind of thing that gets a Google Business Profile suspended and it would be the first dishonest thing on this page. Every meeting is remote and the work is identical.

Do you have any Houston clients you can show me?

Not yet. The two clients who gave permission to publish are in Georgia and Louisiana, and neither published client is a company of this market. Both records are linked above. What transfers to Houston is the method, not a forecast. If a named local result is what you need before signing, say so now.

Do roofers need a licence in Texas?

No state licence exists for roofing contractors. The Department of Licensing and Regulation's published list of regulated industries contains no roofing programme, though local registration and insurance requirements still apply. So the trust a buyer can check is your review base, one consistent name, and a page saying who runs the company.

What does HB 2102 require on an insurance job?

A statutory notice in 12-point boldfaced type on any contract of $1,000 or more reasonably expected to be paid from property insurance proceeds, and it makes knowingly helping an insured avoid their deductible a Class B misdemeanor. We read every page and ad we touch for deductible language first.

How much hail does Houston get?

The record shows 149 hail reports in Harris County across 2015 to 2024, which counts reports rather than storms and carries no loss data. The database also holds no Harris County record for Hurricane Beryl, so it understates the real exposure. We quote the count with its limits attached.
