No one controls Google's rankings or AI's answers, not us, not anyone. An agency that guarantees a ranking is either guaranteeing something worthless, hiding the conditions in fine print, or planning to be gone before you notice. We commit to what we control: the work, the measurement, and the honesty of both.
What guarantee-sellers actually do
The playbook is decades old. Guarantee "#1 on Google", for a search phrase so obscure nobody types it. Guarantee "page one", on a timeline long enough to collect a year of fees first. Guarantee "results", defined loosely enough to mean anything. Or guarantee boldly, churn through clients, and rebrand when the reviews catch up. The guarantee isn't a promise about your business. It's a script for closing the sale.
What Google itself says
Google's own guidance for hiring an SEO says it plainly: no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google, and it warns businesses to be wary of firms that claim otherwise. The ranking systems change constantly, weigh hundreds of signals, and answer to searchers, not to agencies. AI answers are even less controllable: they re-form with every model update. Anyone guaranteeing placement inside them is guessing out loud, with your money.
What we commit to instead
Commitments we can actually keep, in writing:
If a guarantee is the thing you want most, we're the wrong agency, and we'd rather tell you that on this page than after your first invoice. If measured, documented progress is what you want, start below.
