Electrical marketing agencies compared on proof, terms and price

Mindflow Marketing wrote this list and is one of the agencies in it.

By Youssef Hodaigui, Mindflow Marketing · Last checked November 1, 2026

Nine agencies that sell marketing to electrical contractors, A to Z, using what each publishes on its own site and Clutch. The most telling column is named clients: six of the nine name an electrical company you could look up. The general hiring questions live in our guide to choosing a home services marketing agency.

01

What do these nine agencies publish for electrical contractors?

Mindflow is added because we publish the list; the other eight met the rule in the next section. Of the nine, eight publish contract terms, six put account ownership in writing, seven show a price and six name an electrical client. "Couldn't verify" marks a point the agency's site was silent on during our November 1, 2026 read.

How did we choose and check these agencies?

We ran three US web searches on November 1, 2026: "best electrical marketing agencies", "electrical marketing company" and "electrical SEO company". An agency qualified if it has an electrical page and either its own site appeared in the first ten results for at least two searches or a list in those results named it.

  • Search tool: the searches ran on a web search tool, not Google; live Google results vary by place and day, so a rerun on Google may differ.
  • Trade page: a page on the agency's own site about marketing for this trade; for an agency that serves only this trade, its homepage counts.
  • Excluded: lead sellers, pay-per-lead platforms, directories, software vendors and franchisors. An agency's own list counted for the agencies it named, never for itself. Several lists from one publisher counted as one list, at the agency's best position in them.
  • Merged agencies: when an agency's site says it is now part of another, the two count as one agency, listed under the name it operates under today.
  • Picking up to eight: two-search agencies first, then by signals (own-site appearances plus list publishers naming them); ties go to more own-site appearances, then a better average list position. An agency whose pages left more than four of the eight checks unanswered was replaced by the next in line. If agencies tie for the last places and not all of them fit, we leave the tied group out rather than pick among them.
  • Facts: only from each agency's own pages or its Clutch profile, read the same day and linked in its entry. "Couldn't verify" or "not published" means the pages we checked didn't say; it is not a judgment. We tested no agency's work.
  • Reviews: the review column reports Clutch status only, as Clutch showed it that day; "Couldn't verify" there means we found no Clutch profile. We add no Google or on-site ratings, no scores of our own, and none of our own ratings.
  • Best for: our reading of the fit each agency's pages describe, not a rating.
  • Study figures: "ChatGPT" means OpenAI's API with web search; answers were collected October 3 to 17, 2026, as one snapshot, and describe contractors, not the agencies here.
  • Order: alphabetical; Mindflow sits under M.
  • Mindflow: included because we publish this list, not because it met the rule above. It gets the same eight checks and its own limitations.
  • Fewer than eight: when fewer than eight agencies qualify and pass the checks, we publish those that do and say why below.
  • Upkeep: we re-check every six months and remove an agency whose facts we can no longer verify.

1SEO, named on two lists, says it "is now a part of Scorpion," so its mentions count for Scorpion, which is listed. Blue Corona's site says it has merged with RYNO Strategic Solutions, so it appears here under the RYNO name, with facts from the Blue Corona electrician page.

03

What does each agency publish about its electrical clients, terms and price?

Every entry below draws on the agency's own electrical page, plus its pricing, FAQ or merger pages where those hold the answer, and quotes are its words. Start with who it names as electrical clients, then what you'd sign and what you'd keep.

Comrade Digital Marketing

Best for: electricians doing $1 million to $10 million a year who want month-to-month terms and a published starting price.

Comrade's electrician page calls it "an electrician digital marketing agency built for electrical contractors." It names High Voltage Electric and the Mister Sparky franchise as results, and says its Growth Portal tracks "Booked jobs, cost per lead and revenue, never just clicks."

Its price list starts the full Revenue Engine at "$4,000/mo" and local SEO from $1,500 a month, with ad spend paid separately. It lists its terms as "Month-to-month, no lock-in" and says, "Website, content, data and leads are yours from day one."

Stated limitations: its "sweet spot" is electricians doing $1 million to $10 million a year. Its FAQ gives an SEO-only start of $3,000 a month against $1,500 on the price list, so ask which fits your scope.

Contractor Gorilla

Best for: electricians whose first need is a new website from a design firm that works only with contractors, with ads and SEO added on.

Contractor Gorilla says, "We work exclusively with contractors and trades," and lists electricians among its 17 trades. Its electrician marketing page describes "an intelligent combination of web design, PPC advertising and search engine optimization (SEO)." It quotes Tyrel D. of Metrospark Electric in Aurora, Colorado: "Contractor Gorilla is top notch."

Stated limitations: contract terms, account ownership, prices and reporting aren't published. The page says costs "range depending on your needs" and that "SEO services usually take up to 9 months to see a measurable impact on your business."

Last checked November 1, 2026: electrician marketing page, homepage, Clutch.

Footbridge Media

Best for: smaller electrical shops that want a website and local SEO for a flat, low monthly fee and no contract.

Footbridge says, "We are an electrician marketing agency." Its one package costs $249 a month with $0 setup and covers a website, local SEO, reviews and a CRM dashboard to "Track your leads, see where your calls are coming from." Testimonials come from Bob Holland of Lehigh Valley Electric and Gabriel Grigonis of Friendly Electric Heating & Air.

Its terms: "No Contracts," cancel anytime without fees, and a full refund if you cancel in the first 90 days. On the site: "you OWN it. If you ever leave, your website goes with you."

Stated limitations: "We limit the number of electrical contractors we accept per market area," and "Once your area is taken, it is taken." Ownership of accounts other than the website isn't addressed. We didn't find a Clutch profile.

Last checked November 1, 2026: electrician page.

Hook Agency

Best for: established electrical companies, roughly $2 million to $3 million a year and up, that want to see list prices before talking and can leave without a long contract.

Hook's electrician page says it is "focused exclusively on contractors and home services companies" and that it will "report monthly on a live marketing dashboard." Its plumbing page FAQ adds, "We don't have long-term contracts."

Its pricing page lists Local SEO + AEO at "$3,750 /mo" and Google Ads + LSA from "$2,000 /mo." It states "You own your website 100%" and, for ads, "you own your account."

Stated limitations: no electrical client is named; its electrical SEO page describes results for an unnamed electrical contractor. Its electrician page says it usually fits "growth-mode contractors over 3M+"; its electrical SEO page says "over 2M+." Both mark revenue under $1 million "Not a Fit at This Time."

Mindflow Marketing

Best for: electricians who want search, AI answers, reviews and conversion bought as one program, with the founder as their contact.

Complete Local is from $2,800 a month, Complete Regional from $4,500 and Complete Multi-Market from $8,500, with no setup fee. You own every account. Website files and copy are yours once paid. You get a written report every month and a call every quarter.

Stated limitations: the single client story we publish is a Georgia fence company we worked with for 8 years, not an electrician. The first 90 days are committed and billed monthly, so you can't leave in the first three months. Mindflow is founder-led. We sell websites as their own project and scope ads client by client. We work with one company per trade in your area. We don't quote our own ratings on a list we publish.

RYNO Strategic Solutions

Best for: electrical contractors who want a home-services agency with a published monthly range and ownership of the work in writing.

RYNO Strategic Solutions, formerly Blue Corona, keeps its electrician page on the Blue Corona site, which calls it "a Nexstar strategic partner and ServiceTitan certified marketer" and features one electrical case study: Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical, in the Phoenix Valley.

The electrician page says marketing "can run anywhere from $2,500 to over $10,000 per month" and lists "Detailed monthly reports." The Blue Corona garage door page says, "You'll own every single deliverable, from your website to your content."

Stated limitations: the electrician page doesn't state contract terms; the Blue Corona pest control and garage door pages say clients aren't held to long-term contracts. The other two case studies on the electrician page are heating, cooling and plumbing companies.

Scorpion

Best for: larger electrical operations that would trade a year-long technology term for one vendor running ads, SEO and call data in its own software.

Scorpion serves "home services, legal, and franchise companies," its homepage says. Its electrical page says it has "helped electricians for over 20 years" and features Mel Carr Electric, Knee's Electrical Services and Faith Electric Group, each with a return figure Scorpion reports. Its platform lets clients "See everything in one place."

The page says Scorpion typically requires a 12-month contract for its marketing technology and services such as SEO, while ads usually run month to month. Clients "own your website after the length of your contract with Scorpion is complete," but not the underlying content management system.

Stated limitations: no prices are published; the page says investment "depends on your business goals."

Last checked November 1, 2026: electrical page, electrical FAQ, homepage, Clutch.

Thrive

Best for: electrical shops wanting SEO billed monthly by a big multi-industry firm with many Clutch reviews.

Thrive's electrician SEO page says it has "helped hundreds of businesses provide better electrical services" and promises "comprehensive monthly reports and regular updates" on rankings and other KPIs. Its SEO pricing page says, "We offer month-to-month contracts," and that local SEO "typically starts at approximately $500 per month."

Stated limitations: there's no electrical client named on the electrician page and no word on account ownership; quoted budgets leave out ad spend.

Last checked November 1, 2026: electrician SEO page, SEO pricing, Clutch.

WebFX

Best for: electricians who want a large agency with itemized SEO plans and an electrical case study to read.

WebFX's electrician page says it has "hundreds of electrician marketing pros" and that "WebFX's marketing services start at $3,000 per month." Its electrician SEO page describes Asbury Electric, a residential electrician in Williamsburg, Virginia, which "saw a 50% year-over-year increase in impressions from local SEO."

Its five SEO plans, $2,900 to $9,200 a month, each include a "Monthly Consultation Call" and a monthly performance analysis.

Stated limitations: that pricing table labels the fee "Monthly Investment (6-month commitment)," so plan on six months. Its pages don't say who holds the website and accounts.

Which of these agencies can show you work for an electrical company?

Six can point to a named electrical business on their own pages: Comrade, Contractor Gorilla, Footbridge, RYNO, Scorpion and WebFX. Hook describes an unnamed electrical contractor, and Thrive and Mindflow name none. A name is where checking starts, not proof of results: call the company and ask what changed after the agency started.

Comrade, RYNO, Scorpion and WebFX publish case studies with figures; Footbridge and Contractor Gorilla quote owners, which says how the work felt rather than what it produced. Ask for a reference whose market and job mix look like yours.

05

What should an electrician ask an agency to check before it starts?

Your license and business records, as well as your reviews. In our 50-metro study, when ChatGPT was asked about a named electrical company, 1,298 of 1,500 answers cited a government or licensing site, more than the 1,228 that cited the BBB. Ask who will keep your license listing, BBB profile and directory details matching.

From our electrical benchmark:

  • Maps rank and AI answers differ. ChatGPT named 50 of the 147 electrical businesses at the top of Google Maps and 85 of the 150 in the local pack. Ask for both in every report.
  • Other places it reads. Birdeye appeared in 651 of the 1,500 answers and BuildZoom in 504 (what ChatGPT checks before recommending a contractor). Ask whether those profiles are claimed and current.
  • What your homepage says. 428 of 561 electrical homepages stated "licensed" and 397 stated emergency service, but only 240 showed any online booking signal. Ask what the agency would change on your homepage first.
06

Could an electrical contractor hire a marketer or buy leads instead?

You can hire a marketer, buy leads from a platform, or run a written plan with your own office staff. A hire makes sense when there is a full-time job's worth of marketing work. Lead platforms bill per inquiry and may send the same inquiry to other electricians, so how fast you call back decides who wins the job.

Agency vs in-house runs the numbers on a hire, and freelancer vs agency covers the middle option. For buying leads, see electrical leads, home-service lead generation and speed to lead.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electrical marketing agencies charge? Published prices start at $249 a month for Footbridge's package and about $500 for local SEO at Thrive. WebFX starts SEO at $2,900, Mindflow starts at $2,800, RYNO's Blue Corona page ranges from $2,500 to over $10,000, Hook's Local SEO + AEO is $3,750 and Comrade's full program starts at $4,000. Ad spend is extra everywhere.

How long before marketing shows results for an electrician? It depends on the channel, your market and where you start. Scorpion's FAQ says most clients see growth in 3 to 6 months, and Contractor Gorilla says SEO can take up to 9 months to show a measurable impact. Ask any agency what it expects to change by month three, and how it will show you.

Should I hire an agency that only markets electricians? It can help, but check the proof rather than the label. Footbridge and Comrade build pages around electrical contractors, while Thrive and WebFX serve many industries. What matters more is a named electrical client in a market like yours, with someone there who will take your call.

Who should own my website, Google Business Profile and ad accounts? Your company should, with the agency added as a user, and Google Ads should run on your own card so the history stays yours. Six agencies here state some ownership in writing; ask the others before signing. Our checklist on who owns your website and Google profile shows who holds the admin logins now.
