- ChatGPT named a Jacksonville competitor but not us, and we're in the Maps top three. Why?
- In our October 2026 checks, ChatGPT named only 7 of the 24 Jacksonville businesses in the Maps top three. A map position doesn't carry over by itself. Answers matched the local pack more often, and they cite websites, license records and review sites. Your free review shows what Google's AI and ChatGPT say for two searches and how your reviews compare with your top three competitors.
- Our pest control license isn't on myfloridalicense.com. Is something wrong?
- Probably not. Florida pest control businesses are licensed by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, not DBPR, under Florida Statutes chapter 482, and each business location needs its own license. Make sure your site names that license and every location you advertise. This is not legal advice; confirm details with the department.
- We renewed our certified license after August 31. What should we check?
- Look up your record on DBPR's Licensee Search and confirm it shows the renewal, with the same business name and license number your website and Business Profile use. Certified construction and electrical licenses expire August 31 of even-numbered years, per Florida Administrative Code rule 61-6.001. Not legal advice; DBPR has the final word on your status.
- Is roofing different for AI answers in Jacksonville?
- In our sample, yes. Across five answers about Jacksonville roofers, ChatGPT named 26 different companies and none of the three Maps leaders. With names spread that wide, clear roofing pages, a matching license record and recent reviews on the sites AI answers cite give an answer more to confirm about you. No one can promise a mention.
- Do Google's local pack and Maps disagree for every Jacksonville trade?
- No. In our October 2026 checks, plumbing had 2 of its 3 Maps top-three businesses in the local pack, while garage door, roofing and remodeling had none. Electrical, HVAC, pest control and water damage had 1 of 3 each. So the first step is checking both lists for your own trade and town, and the free review includes your map position for three core searches.
- How long does SEO take?
- Usually months, not weeks. How fast depends on your competitors and on how complete your Business Profile and site are today.
- Do you guarantee rankings?
- No. No one can guarantee a spot on Google or in an AI answer. We show you the work and the results.
- Is AI SEO extra?
- No. AI search optimization is included in SEO in every plan.
- Am I locked into a contract?
- The first 90 days are committed and billed monthly. After that it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
- Who owns my accounts and website?
- You do. Every account stays in your name, and website files and copy are yours once paid.
- Will you work with my competitor?
- No. We won't work with your direct competitor in your area.
- Do I need a new website?
- Not always. If yours can't turn visits into calls, we'll say so and quote a site separately.
- Do you run Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads?
- Case by case. Our plans cover SEO, AI search, your Google Business Profile, reviews and conversion. When paid ads fit your market and goals, we scope Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads in your proposal. Ad spend goes to the platform and isn't part of our fee.
