Texas HVAC SEO and AI Visibility Agency
Mindflow Marketing helps Texas HVAC companies get found on Google and named by the engines buyers now ask first: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. I am Youssef Hodaigui, I run every engagement myself from Atlanta, and both the pricing and the measurement protocol are published before you spend a dollar.
TDLR

2002 / 1993
Austin metro median build year against its three peers
510,772
Texas insurance claims from the February 2021 freeze
Mindflow Marketing was founded by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, and he runs every engagement personally.
The office is in Atlanta and Texas is served from there. We will not open a mailbox in Houston to look local.
Every rate is on the pricing page. No quote call required to learn what this costs.
One company per metro in each service category. Your Texas competitor cannot buy the same seat.
Mindflow works from one place: Atlanta, Georgia. There is no Mindflow office in Texas and no address for us here, because none exists. This is a market we serve rather than a market we sit in. Our one real location is here.
What is AI visibility, and how is it different from SEO?
AI visibility, also called answer engine optimization or AEO, is the practice of getting a business named inside AI-generated answers. SEO earns a ranked link a buyer clicks. AEO earns a mention inside the answer itself, in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, where no click may ever happen.
The two run on overlapping machinery. Google states that its generative features are rooted in its core Search ranking and quality systems, so a page has to be indexed and eligible before it can be quoted. Classic SEO is the floor, and AEO is built on top of it.
What sits above that floor is different work. An assistant is choosing which Texas HVAC companies to name, and it draws on how clearly your company is defined as an entity, how consistently it is described across the web, what independent sources say about it, and whether your pages answer the question in a passage it can lift whole.
Nobody can force a recommendation. We build the entity footprint, the citable pages and the review base the assistants draw on, then we score where you land on twelve frozen buying questions across three platforms each quarter, with the screenshots archived and dated.
What actually shapes an HVAC search plan in Texas?
Texas HVAC is one licence and four metros that pull the work in different directions. Each condition below is checked against the body that publishes it, and my own reading of it sits underneath the table.
- TDLR requires an ACR contractor in every permanent location, head office included
- Texas licenses HVAC, plumbing and electrical, and licenses neither roofing nor fencing
- Austin metro housing is nine years newer than Houston, DFW and San Antonio
- Austin runs the Uniform Mechanical Code where most of Texas runs the International
| Condition | What it is | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Licence, statewide | The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation licenses air conditioning and refrigeration contractors. Its own wording: contractors who install, repair or maintain systems related to air conditioning, refrigeration or heating must have a TDLR licence, and ACR companies must employ an ACR contractor in each permanent location. | Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation air conditioning and refrigeration contractors programme |
| Trades regulated | Texas licenses HVAC, plumbing and electrical. | Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation published list of regulated industries |
| Metro housing age | Pulled on one Census table and one vintage, the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metro records a median year of construction of 2002. Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio all read 1993. | US Census ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, tables B25003, B25024, B25035 and B19013 |
| February 2021 winter storm | The Texas Department of Insurance recorded 510,772 claims and roughly $11.2 billion in expected ultimate insured losses from the February 2021 winter storm, naming freezing pipes first among the causes. Travis County alone filed 31,823 claims. | Texas Department of Insurance report on insured losses from the February 2021 Texas winter weather event, published 19 September 2022 |
| Mechanical code in Austin | From 10 July 2025 Austin runs the 2024 Uniform Mechanical and Plumbing Codes from IAPMO. | City of Austin adopted technical codes effective 10 July 2025 |
What we read from that, and this part is our judgement rather than anything the sources state: start with the requirement that an ACR contractor sits in each permanent location. That last clause is the one that catches growing companies. A second branch is not covered by the first branch's licensed contractor.
Anyone opening a location in another metro needs to solve for it before the doors open rather than after an inspection. Texas is also selective about which trades it licenses at all. It licenses neither roofing nor fencing, which is worth knowing when a customer asks what “licensed and insured” actually covers on a mixed job.
Nine years is a real structural difference. Austin's stock is arriving at its first major replacement window now; the other three are well into second and third replacements. The same campaign will not fit both.
The city cores diverge further. Dallas city reads 1981, Houston city 1981, against metros a decade newer. Detached share and owner-occupancy drop sharply at the city line in all four. Owner-occupier replacement demand lives in the suburban rings; the cores run through landlords and managers.
TDI does not break out a pipe-specific count, and neither will we. The relevance for this trade is that Texas households now have a lived reference point for what happens when heating fails at scale, in a state where heating is the secondary season. That is a durable argument for maintenance and for backup, and it is dated rather than hypothetical.
One code detail worth carrying: from 10 July 2025 Austin runs the 2024 Uniform Mechanical and Plumbing Codes from IAPMO rather than the International codes most of Texas uses. A company working Austin and Houston is working two different mechanical code families. I build the Austin pages and the Houston pages against different reference points for that reason alone.
Do I need a separate licence for a second Texas branch? TDLR requires ACR companies to employ an ACR contractor in each permanent location, so a second branch needs its own. Solve it before opening rather than at inspection.
Is Texas housing stock uniform across the metros? No. Austin's metro median build year is 2002 against 1993 for Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio on the same Census table and vintage. Austin is reaching its first replacement window; the others are past it.
Which mechanical code applies in Austin? Since 10 July 2025 Austin uses the 2024 Uniform Mechanical and Plumbing Codes from IAPMO, rather than the International codes used across most of Texas.
Figures are carried from the primary sources cited on our Texas market page, Austin, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth and San Antonio market pages: US Census ACS 2020–2024 five-year estimates, tables B25003, B25024, B25035 and B19013, with all four metros pulled on the same table and vintage; Texas Department of Insurance report on insured losses from the February 2021 Texas winter weather event, published 19 September 2022; City of Austin adopted technical codes effective 10 July 2025.
Licensing is from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation air conditioning and refrigeration contractors programme and its published list of regulated industries. Checked 2026-07-28.

Six pillars run together inside one engagement: local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility and entity work, reputation and brand SERP, conversion tracking, and measurement you can audit. Every number I hand you carries its denominator, so a figure can be checked instead of believed.
Local SEO and Google Maps
Google Business Profile work and map-grid tracking read across the whole metro you sell in, not off a single pin. A grid tells you whether you are losing on trust signals or losing on distance, and those two have different fixes.
Organic search
Technical foundations, site architecture and the searches that turn into installs and replacements, built from the work you actually closed. Pages built from a keyword tool instead rank you in counties your crews will never drive to.
AI visibility and entity work
Entity disambiguation, organisation schema, knowledge-graph alignment and passages written so an assistant can lift them whole. This decides whether ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews name your Texas HVAC company or the one down the road.
Reputation and brand SERP
What a buyer and an assistant both see when they search your name. Your TDLR licence number, your review base and a brand page that reads the same everywhere all feed the same judgement.
Conversion tracking
Calls and forms tracked through to the booked job. Visibility that never reaches a booked job still costs you the months it took to build, and that bill never appears on an invoice.
Measurement you can audit
Share of Answer across twelve frozen buying questions, three platforms, three runs each, scored quarterly out of twelve with screenshots archived and dated.
Read the full methodRankings are never guaranteed. Anything we could not trace to a primary source is absent from this page, not estimated. The audit runs the same six layers described on the pricing page, and Share of Answer is scored quarterly.
Every figure on this page has a source and a date
Three numbers are absent here on purpose: cost per lead, conversion rate, local benchmark. Each moves with market and season, so anything printed on this page would be stale before you finished reading it. Your account holds the real figure, and the calculators handle the arithmetic once you do.
You read the protocol first, then decide. Six layers, the sampling method, a real report with the numbers left in. Ranking promises are absent by design.
How the first 90 days work
Every engagement opens with a diagnostic, not a pitch. The first 90 days give you a baseline you can hold me to, fix what is structurally broken, and put the first measured movement on the record.
- Free Visibility Check. The twelve real buying questions an HVAC customer types, asked across Google Maps, Google and the assistants in your Texas metro. You get the screenshots. No call required to receive it.
- Local Visibility Audit. Crawlability and indexation, entity and schema state, map-grid position across your metro, review base, licence disclosure, and the competitive gap. Delivered written, with the working shown.
- Baseline measurement. Share of Answer scored before any work begins, so the starting number exists in writing and cannot be revised later.
- Foundations, weeks 1 to 6. Technical fixes, entity and organisation schema, Google Business Profile, and the pages that answer the questions Texas HVAC buyers actually ask.
- Authority and content, weeks 4 to 12. Citable pages, review systems, and the off-site corroboration assistants rely on when deciding whether a company is real.
- First remeasurement. The same twelve questions, the same conditions, scored against the baseline. Movement or no movement, both go in the report.
PUBLISHED RESULTS · VERIFIED 2026-06-16
What has Mindflow Marketing published, and is any of it Texas HVAC?
No Texas results exist. Two clients have given written permission to publish their numbers, and neither published client is a company of this market.
Precision Fenceworks is a Georgia fence company that works Athens, Alpharetta, Atlanta and Gwinnett, verified live 2026-06-16. Fireside Antiques is an eCommerce antiques dealer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Search Console and Ahrefs data pulled 2026-06-10.
PRECISION FENCEWORKS · GEORGIA FENCING
In Athens, where it ranks second in the map pack and third organic, three of the four major assistants name it and Perplexity gives it as first pick. In Alpharetta it is first organic and third in the map pack, beaten on distance. The published record scopes that finding precisely: beaten on proximity and not on trust signals.
In Atlanta the same client has no reachable map presence against 100,000-plus impressions in sixteen months. The Google Business Profile pin sits in Alpharetta, proximity decides the Google map pack, and no page moves a building. In Lawrenceville it reaches page one organic with zero map presence.
87 AI mentions across 72 cited pages, and 631 Precision Fenceworks reviews at a 4.9 average.
FIRESIDE ANTIQUES · LOUISIANA
Five of eight tracked core terms ranking strong, with dining tables, armoires, mirrors and coffee tables all recovered to first position.
A national eCommerce catalogue, not a local service business, which is why it sits here as evidence of method and not as a forecast for a Texas HVAC contractor.
Neither client is a Texas HVAC company, and I am not going to imply otherwise. What transfers between markets is the method: the audit, the frozen questions, the stated denominators and the work ledger. What does not transfer is a promise about your own street.
What I cannot show either: revenue, lead volume and job values. Neither client’s permission covers it. So I cannot tell you whether this visibility became money, and I would sooner say that than let a chart imply it. Two clients is not a large portfolio and we are not going to present it as one.
What does SEO and AI visibility cost for a Texas HVAC company?
Every rate is published. A Visibility Check is free. A Local Visibility Audit is $3,500 to $7,500 and credits against your first invoice if a monthly partnership starts within 30 calendar days of delivery. The monthly partnership starts at $3,500 a month on a 90-day initial term, then runs month to month. No setup fee and no annual contract.
The credit caps at that first invoice and does not carry forward. At the bottom of the range a $3,500 audit against a $3,500 first month costs you nothing if you continue. At the top, a $7,500 audit against a $3,500 first month credits $3,500 and the remaining $4,000 is spent. I would sooner you ran that sum at your own desk than found it on an invoice.
The full ladder, with what sits inside each higher tier, is on the pricing page. Trade cost benchmarks sit on the HVAC marketing cost guide.
Start with the free checkWhich Texas metros and industries does Mindflow Marketing serve?
We serve Texas HVAC companies from Atlanta, across Houston and Harris County, Dallas-Fort Worth over Dallas and Tarrant counties, Austin and Travis County, and San Antonio and Bexar County, with the suburbs around each: Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Round Rock, Cedar Park, New Braunfels and Schertz.
Beyond HVAC the work covers established companies in roofing, plumbing, electrical, fencing, garage door and remodeling, plus high-value legal, specialty healthcare and considered-purchase eCommerce. The qualifier is deal value. One won job has to cover months of the work, or the arithmetic does not close.
This page covers hvac across Texas. The wider state picture, and the metro-by-metro detail beneath it, sits on the Texas market page.
Metro pages: Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio. The trade itself sits on the HVAC marketing page and the HVAC AI visibility page. The other Texas trade page is roofing in Texas.
Texas HVAC SEO and AI visibility: common questions
Do you have an office in Texas?
No. Mindflow Marketing works from one office, in Atlanta, Georgia, and Texas is a service area. We hold no Texas address, no Texas Google Business Profile and no Texas team. Every Texas HVAC engagement runs remotely and founder-led, with Share of Answer scored quarterly against archived screenshots. A company that wants somebody in the room in Houston should hire somebody in Houston.
Do you have any Texas HVAC clients you can show me?
Not yet. The two clients who have given written permission to publish are Precision Fenceworks in Georgia, verified live 2026-06-16, and Fireside Antiques in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from data pulled 2026-06-10. Neither is a Texas HVAC company. What transfers here is the method: the audit, the frozen questions and the stated denominators, and I would tell you that before an invoice.
Who does SEO and AI visibility for HVAC companies in Texas?
Mindflow Marketing, a founder-led SEO and AEO agency run by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, from Atlanta, serving Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. One founder runs every engagement across local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility, reputation and conversion, with the denominator stated beside every number and Share of Answer scored quarterly.
Can you rank a Texas HVAC company in the Google map pack from Atlanta?
Yes, because the map pack scores the distance from your Google Business Profile pin to the searcher, not from ours. Where your pin sits inside your Texas metro is what decides it. If it sits outside the suburbs you want to win, no amount of content moves the building, and I will tell you that before you pay me to try.
Will you work with my competitor in Texas?
No. One company per metro in each service category. If a Houston HVAC company signs first, I turn down every other Houston HVAC company for the life of that engagement, including better-funded ones. Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio hold one HVAC seat each. It caps how large this agency can grow, and that is a trade I accept deliberately.
Where does your Texas HVAC company show up right now?
A free Visibility Check shows where you stand across Google and AI answers for hvac in Texas, before any conversation about scope or price. Twelve buying questions for your trade, asked across Google, the map and the assistants. Free, with screenshots, and no call required to receive it.
