Carpet cleaning

Website Design for Carpet Cleaning Companies

A website that shows homeowners what a room price includes, lets them pick a cleaning time from a phone and states your certification and products accurately. Mindflow builds it as a separate project for carpet, upholstery, rug and tile cleaning companies, and you own it once it's paid.

What should each page of a carpet cleaning website answer?

A carpet cleaning website needs a page for each service you sell, a price page, a certification and method page, a commercial page if you want facility work, town pages where your vans go and a booking page. Each one answers a question a homeowner or facility manager has before they book.

PageWhat the customer checks there
Carpet cleaningHow do you clean, and how long until I can walk on it?
UpholsteryDo you clean my fabric, and will it shrink or bleed?
Area rugsDo you clean wool and delicate rugs, at my home or at your shop, and do you pick them up?
Tile and groutWill the grout come clean, and do you seal it?
Pet odor and stainsCan you get the smell out, and what happens if a stain doesn't come out?
PricesWhat counts as a room, and what costs extra?
Certification and methodWho is certified, and which standard do your crews follow?
Commercial maintenance, if you want itHow often can you come, and can you work after hours?
Town pages, where your vans goDo you serve my street?
BookingCan I pick a time without calling?

How to word a room price and a multi-room special is on our carpet cleaning marketing page; the website puts it into practice. Your proposal lists the exact pages and features. How the IICRC logo and firm status should be shown is on our carpet cleaning SEO page.

How should booking work on a carpet cleaning website?

Let customers book the way your schedule actually runs. If you keep open time slots, online booking can ask rooms, rugs or furniture, the address and a time window. If you price after seeing the job, a short request your office confirms is the safer path. Either way, the call button stays in view on every page.

  • Rooms and items in the form, in the same terms as your price page (rooms, stairs, a sofa, a rug's size), so the booking matches the price.
  • Time windows your crews can keep, rather than exact arrival times, if each van runs several jobs a day.
  • Your Business Profile pointed at the same page.Google lets a Business Profile carry links for booking appointments, up to 10 per category. Its help page doesn't say which business categories can show them. If yours can, the link should open the same booking page your website uses, so every booking lands in one calendar.
  • A confirmation that sets expectationswhat to move beforehand, pets, parking and your typical drying time.
  • Tracking in your name.We check that calls and forms are tracked. You can then see which pages lead to bookings.

A booking page also has to work for customers who didn't start on the map. In our 5-city study (October 2026), ChatGPT named only 2 of the 15 carpet cleaners in the Google Maps top three, both in Austin, across five ChatGPT runs per city that named no company.

Can a carpet cleaner's website say "non-toxic" or "pet-safe"?

Only with evidence or a clear qualifier. The FTC's Green Guides say a non-toxic claim likely tells buyers that a product or service is non-toxic for people and for the environment, and the guides' own example says that claim on a cleaning product can be read to include household pets. So a "pet-safe" line needs the same backing.

The guides say marketers who make non-toxic claims should have competent and reliable scientific evidence for them, or qualify them clearly and prominently. None of the 8 agency sales pages for carpet cleaning websites that we read on November 1, 2026 raised this, and one recommended advertising "child-safe and pet-safe" solutions as a selling point. On your site, we keep product lines to what you can show:

  • Say what the claim rests onthe product's label or safety data sheet, and the use it's labeled for.
  • Qualify "pet-safe" and "kid-safe."If the label says to keep pets and children off until the carpet is dry, the page says so, with your typical drying time.
  • Keep the evidence on file for every product claim on the site, and update the page when you switch products. A plain description of your method beats a claim you'd have to defend.

We draft these lines from your product labels, and you confirm each one before launch.

When should customers book again, and what should the site tell them?

Tell them what the carpet industry's own guidance says. The Carpet and Rug Institute recommends restorative cleaning every 12 to 18 months, and tells owners to use the cleaning method their carpet's manufacturer recommends to keep the warranty. A page that explains both gives last year's customers a reason, and a date, to book again.

  • A "how often" page with that guidance in plain words, and how you'd schedule a home like theirs.
  • Your method named on the page, with a line telling homeowners to check their own carpet warranty, since terms vary by manufacturer.
  • A booking link on that page, so a returning customer is one tap from a date.

What do we need from you to build a carpet cleaning website?

Your price sheet, your photos and the paperwork behind your claims. We need what a room includes and what costs extra, before-and-after photos for each service, your IICRC firm or technician details, the labels for any product you'd describe on the site, and the towns you want more work in. We can write the copy; you check every claim.

  • Price sheetwhat counts as a room, your specials, your extras and your minimum charge.
  • Photosbefore-and-after pairs by service, plus your vans and crews. We recommend real photos over stock images; any generated illustration is clearly illustrative.
  • Certificationfirm registration or each technician's certifications, with names exactly as the IICRC lists them.
  • Productsthe label or safety data sheet for any product you want described as pet-safe or anything similar.
  • Booking, towns and reviewswhether you take online bookings and in what time windows, the towns you want more of, and links to your review profiles.
Case study

Case study: a fence company, from one county to Metro Atlanta

The problem

"we struggled to generate consistent leads online and were invisible in search results."

The work

SEO and web design over an 8-year partnership, plus reputation management.

The results Zack Goekjian (CEO) describes in his testimonial
  • "Within the first year, our website started ranking for competitive keywords like 'Atlanta fence installation' and 'Atlanta fence company'"
  • 250% more qualified leads
  • from 1 county to several across Metro Atlanta
  • from 5 people to 12
  • reputation work that helped maintain a 4.9-star average rating.

These are Zack's own figures from his testimonial, not numbers we measured. Results depend on your market and starting point.

What does a carpet cleaning website cost?

A carpet cleaning website from Mindflow starts at $5,000, and larger sites start at $8,500. The price depends on what the site carries, such as how many service, town and commercial pages it needs and whether it takes bookings. You get the exact price in writing before work starts, and no marketing contract is required.

Three of the 8 agency sales pages for carpet cleaning websites that we read on November 1, 2026 sold monthly plans. A Mindflow site is one project price, and the website files and copy are yours once paid, so ask any monthly provider what you keep when the payments stop. We build on WordPress by default and help you set up hosting in your name. The website build timeline is 3–6 weeks. If you're replacing a site, we list the pages that bring visits and calls before anything is cut, set a permanent redirect for every URL that changes and test tracking before launch; our website redesign page explains how. The six build steps are on our website design page, and what moves a website's price is in what a website costs for a service business.

A new site doesn't rank by itself. Showing up in search is ongoing work, which our carpet cleaning SEO plan covers, and no one can guarantee a ranking or a number of bookings.

What clients say

"Mindflow Marketing has been our digital partner for 8 years, and they've been instrumental in transforming Precision Fenceworks from a small local operation to the established fence company we are today. … What impresses me most is how Youssef takes the time to understand the fencing industry specifically, not just generic marketing. I'd recommend Mindflow Marketing to any home service business looking for a digital partner who delivers measurable results and genuinely cares about your business growth."

Questions about carpet cleaning websites

Should we show before-and-after photos for every service?

Yes, if they're from your own jobs. Pair each set with the service, the problem, such as pet stains, traffic lanes or grout, and the town, and take both shots from the same angle and light so the change is believable. Don't present stock or edited images as your work; label any generated illustration as one.

Can the site show a room-price calculator?

It can, if the number it shows is the price you charge. A calculator that asks rooms, stairs and extras works when your pricing is that simple. If you price after seeing the carpet, a request your office confirms avoids a number you'd have to change at the door. Either way, it uses the same definitions as your price page.

Do upholstery and rug cleaning need their own pages?

If you want that work, yes. A sofa owner wants to see fabrics you've cleaned and how you test for color bleeding; a rug owner wants to know whether you clean in the home or at your shop and whether you pick up. One page each, with your own photos, answers those better than a line on the carpet page.

We're a one-van company. Is a full website worth it?

Maybe not yet. If most bookings come from repeat customers and referrals, a few clear pages and a working booking link may be enough, and conversion work on your current site can fix a site you already have. A built site pays off when you add services, towns or commercial accounts. We'll say which we'd do in your place before you commit to anything.

Who runs hosting and updates after launch?

You do, with every account in your name. We help you set up hosting, a CDN and everything the site needs to run. WordPress, our default platform, lets your office change prices, photos and specials without a developer, and the site is built so you can add a new service or town page the same way.
