Quick answer

What does marketing for a pressure washing company need to do?

Two jobs at once. A homeowner wants a before-and-after photo, a clear price and a date, and they decide fast. A property manager or fleet operator wants proof of insurance, a schedule that fits their hours and a company that handles wash water properly. Marketing for a pressure washing company has to serve both without competing on price alone.

What makes pressure washing marketing different?

Pressure washing, or power washing, is a volume trade: small tickets on the residential side, contracts on the commercial side, and photos doing most of the selling. Soft washing is a separate service with its own buyer, and wash water has rules that commercial customers ask about. That split, and the photos, shape everything below.

  • Small tickets, many jobs.A house wash or a driveway is a quick decision, so the request has to be fast: a clear starting price or a short form, a phone that's answered, and a date. Every extra step can cost a booking.
  • Soft washing is a different search.Low-pressure cleaning of roofs, siding and painted surfaces is a different method, a different price and a different worry (will it damage my roof?). If you offer it, it gets its own page and its own before-and-after photos, and so does roof cleaning.
  • Commercial and fleet work recurs.Property managers, HOAs, restaurant groups and fleet operators buy on insurance, a schedule that fits their hours and records they can check, and they come back on a cycle. That work gets its own pages, written for them.
  • Wash water has rules.Ohio's environmental agency's guidance says wastewater from power washing is industrial wastewater, even with biodegradable soap, and can't be discharged to a storm drain; it goes to a sanitary sewer with permission, or is collected and hauled. Nashville's water department tells operators never to let dirty wash water into a storm drain; there it's an illicit discharge that can be fined. Commercial buyers ask about this, so we state how you handle it on your site. This isn't legal advice; rules vary by state and city.
  • Before-and-after is the sales pitch.Photos by surface and town, on your site and your Business Profile, with the dirty half left in. Real jobs only; nothing staged or generated.
  • No ad category for pressure washing.Google's list of Local Services Ads categories has no pressure washing or power washing category, though window cleaning and house cleaning are listed. If someone promises you those ads, ask which category they mean. If paid ads of any kind fit your market and goals, we scope them in your proposal; it's case by case, and our leads and ads guides cover the trade-offs.

Plans and pricing

Every plan includes the same work; bigger plans cover more ground. Your proposal lists exactly what your plan includes.

How do you win recurring commercial and fleet work alongside house washes?

Run them as two businesses on one site. A homeowner wants to see siding or a driveway like theirs come clean, know the price and pick a date. A property manager, HOA board or fleet manager wants a company that's insured, cleans on their schedule, handles wash water correctly and can be checked. One page can't sell to both.

For homeowners: pages for house washing, soft washing, roof cleaning, driveways and concrete, decks and fences, with photos from their towns, a clear starting price where you're comfortable showing one, and a booking request that takes a minute on a phone.

For property managers, HOAs and fleet operators: pages for commercial buildings, parking lots and dumpster pads, HOA common areas and fleet washing; photos from those sites; your insurance stated plainly; how you contain and dispose of wash water; and a request form that asks for the site, the surfaces, how often and when you can work, since evenings and weekends count.

For both: a company that checks out. A property manager who looks you up before signing finds the same things an AI assistant finds. Our study didn't cover pressure washing. In the 8 trades it did, ChatGPT's answers about a named contractor cited the BBB in 10,582 of 11,982 answers, a government or licensing site in 10,288 and the company's own site in 9,557, and a property manager's assistant checks the same places. Your insurance line, your wash-water practice, your BBB profile, your Business Profile and your site should all agree; we keep them that way. Details in what ChatGPT checks before recommending a contractor.

What goes on a pressure washing company's website and profile?

A pressure washing buyer wants to see your work, know roughly what it costs and book without a call if they'd rather not make one. Build for that first; we'd only suggest a new site if yours can't take a booking on a phone.

  1. A page for each servicehouse washing, soft washing, roof cleaning, driveways and concrete, decks and fences, gutters, commercial, fleet.
  2. Town pages with before-and-afters from that town.
  3. Before-and-after photos by surface, on your site and your Business Profile.
  4. A booking or estimate request that works on a phone, with call and form tracking checked.
  5. Insurance and wash-water handling in plain words, on the commercial pages and in your profile description.
  6. A review request the same day a job is finished, from your own system, with replies drafted for your approval. How we handle reviews and reputation.
  7. Seasonal add-ons where you offer themgutter cleaning, holiday exterior work, pre-listing washes, each with its own short page so a past customer can find you again.

Questions pressure washing owners ask

We're a one-truck company. Is this worth it?
It depends on your market and the work you want. Our plans start at the price shown in the pricing section, and for some one-truck companies that's a bigger step than the business is ready for; we'd rather say so than sell a plan that doesn't fit. The free review costs nothing and shows where your profile and pages stand, and if the honest answer is "fix these three things yourself first," that's what the report will say.
Should soft washing and roof cleaning have their own pages?
Yes, if you offer them. The homeowner searching for roof cleaning is worried about damage and their roof warranty, not about pressure, so the page has to explain the low-pressure method, show your own roofs before and after, and say what you do to protect plants and windows. A separate service on your Business Profile helps the same search.
How do we get property-manager and fleet contracts instead of one-off driveways?
By giving those buyers what they check, in one place: a commercial page with sites like theirs, your insurance, how you handle wash water, the hours you can work and a request form built for a site visit. Then keep reviews coming from commercial customers too. We can't promise contracts; we can make you the company that's easy to check and hard to rule out.
Have you worked with pressure washing companies before?
Our one published client story is Precision Fenceworks, a Georgia fence company we worked with for 8 years. We haven't published a pressure washing story, and our 50-metro study doesn't cover the trade. What you get here is the trade research on this page and a free review of your own market: your Maps position for pressure washing searches in your towns, your profile, your reviews and what ChatGPT says about you.
Should we keep buying pressure washing leads?
If the math works for you, keep them; it's a different model from ours. On a small ticket, a request shared with several companies leaves little room once you've driven out to quote it. We help generate bookings through your own Google Business Profile, website and reviews, and Mindflow doesn't sell or share those inquiries. Each month you see the bookings your tracking recorded.
How long does SEO take?
Usually months, not weeks. How fast depends on your competitors and on how complete your Business Profile and site are today.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. No one can guarantee a spot on Google or in an AI answer. We show you the work and the results.
Is AI SEO extra?
No. AI search optimization is included in SEO in every plan.
Am I locked into a contract?
The first 90 days are committed and billed monthly. After that it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
Who owns my accounts and website?
You do. Every account stays in your name, and website files and copy are yours once paid.
Will you work with my competitor?
No. We won't work with your direct competitor in your area.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If yours can't turn visits into calls, we'll say so and quote a site separately.
Do you run Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads?
Case by case. Our plans cover SEO, AI search, your Google Business Profile, reviews and conversion. When paid ads fit your market and goals, we scope Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads in your proposal. Ad spend goes to the platform and isn't part of our fee.
