Quick answer

What does marketing for a foundation repair company need to do?

It has to earn an inspection from a worried homeowner who is often comparing more than one company. Before booking, they check you work in their town, whether an engineer is involved, your insurance, your warranty and your reviews. Good foundation repair marketing answers those questions before the first call and makes the request easy on a phone.

What makes foundation repair marketing different?

The jobs are large, the buyer is anxious, and the trust records are different from most trades. Demand follows soil and weather, home sales bring in buyers with a deadline, and in Texas, the largest example, there is no state license to point to. We plan your pages and Business Profile around how your customers actually check you.

  • The inspection is the first sale.A buyer wants someone to look before they'll talk price, and may book more than one inspection. Your site and profile have to make that request quick and explain what happens during the visit, including whether a structural engineer is involved and when.
  • Soil moves, and the damage follows it.The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation describes expansive soils as soils that shrink and swell with changes in moisture: wet soils heave and lift a building, dry soils settle, and "both can cause extensive damage to buildings." The Colorado Geological Survey calls swelling soil "a common and sometimes serious problem" there. Damage shows after a long dry spell or a wet season, so pages and profile updates go in before those months; the search data below shows when people look.
  • Home sales surface the work.In Texas, the seller's disclosure notice asks whether the seller knows of defects in the foundation or slab and of any previous structural repair. So buyers, sellers and their agents may go looking for your repair records, the engineer's report and your warranty. If those are easy to find on your site, you're easier to choose. This isn't legal advice; disclosure rules differ by state.
  • No state license in Texas, so other records carry the trust.Texas has no state license for foundation repair contractors: the state's list of regulated industries doesn't include one, and a 2013 bill to create one described "the absence of state standards." Where that's true, your insurance, your engineer involvement and a written warranty do the work a license number does elsewhere, and we show them plainly. Not legal advice; check your own state and city.
  • Waterproofing and crawl space work are their own searches.A homeowner with a wet basement isn't searching for piers. Each service line gets its own page, its own photos and its own service on your Business Profile.
  • Local Services Ads list this trade.Google's US list of Local Services Ads categories includes "Foundations services". Ads are case by case: when they fit your market and goals, we scope them in your proposal. Our leads and ads guides explain the trade-offs.

What goes on a foundation repair company's website?

A foundation buyer wants to know you've fixed houses like theirs nearby, how the inspection works and what you stand behind. We build or fix these first, usually on the site you already have; the point is a warranty, an inspection process and each service line stated in plain words.

  1. A page for each service linepiers and leveling, pier-and-beam repair, crawl space work, basement waterproofing, drainage, each with your own photos.
  2. Town pages with houses you've leveled or dried out there, when the owner is happy to have them shown.
  3. A warranty page in plain wordswhat's covered, for how long, what voids it and whether it transfers to the next owner. The FTC tells consumers a product warranty must be available to read before they buy; a foundation buyer brings the same expectation to yours, so put it where buyers and their agents can find it. Not legal advice.
  4. How an inspection works, what it costs if anything, and when a structural engineer is involved.
  5. Your insurance and any registrations your state or city requires.
  6. An inspection request that works on a phone and asks only what you need. We check that calls and forms are tracked.
  7. A review request after each job, sent from your own system, with replies you approve, or that post automatically once you trust the drafts. How we handle reviews and reputation.

Which sources did ChatGPT cite when asked about a named foundation repair company?

In October 2026 we asked ChatGPT (OpenAI API with web search) about named foundation repair companies in five cities, 150 answers in all, and recorded which sources each answer cited. The table shows them. This check is reported on its own; it isn't part of our 50-metro study, which covers eight other trades.

What this means for you: the table shows which records ChatGPT leaned on when it described a foundation repair company. Keep those, along with your insurance details and warranty page, accurate and consistent, because a buyer checks the same places. Across the eight trades in our 50-metro study, ChatGPT named 352 of 1,183 Maps top-three businesses when asked who to call; a top map spot by itself didn't get a company named. Method: what ChatGPT checks before recommending a contractor.

FAQ

Questions foundation repair owners ask

The work

We do waterproofing and crawl space work too. Is that one plan or three?
One plan. Each service line gets its own page, its own photos and its own service on your Business Profile, because a homeowner with a wet basement and one with a sinking slab search differently. How many service lines you want to grow is one of the things that sets your price, so tell us your mix when you request the free review.
Buyers keep asking whether our warranty transfers. How do we handle that online?
Answer it on a warranty page before they ask. Say what's covered, for how long, what voids it and whether it passes to the next owner, in the words you'd use across a kitchen table. Agents and buyers in a home sale look for exactly that, and a clear page saves your estimator the same conversation ten times a week.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If yours can't turn visits into calls, we'll say so and quote a site separately.

Cost and terms

Should we keep buying foundation repair leads?
You can do both; they're different models. A lead service can send one homeowner's inspection request to three or four companies, and each of you drives out to look at the same slab. We help generate inspection requests through your own Google Business Profile, website and reviews, and Mindflow doesn't sell or share those inquiries. Each month's report shows which of those requests your tracking recorded.
Am I locked into a contract?
The first 90 days are committed and billed monthly. After that it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
Who owns my accounts and website?
You do. Every account stays in your name, and website files and copy are yours once paid.
Will you work with my competitor?
No. We won't work with your direct competitor in your area.
Do you run Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads?
Case by case. Our plans cover SEO, AI search, your Google Business Profile, reviews and conversion. When paid ads fit your market and goals, we scope Google Ads, Local Services Ads or ChatGPT ads in your proposal. Ad spend goes to the platform and isn't part of our fee.

AI and results

Our state doesn't license foundation repair. Does that hurt us online?
Not if the other records are easy to find. In Texas, for example, there's no state license for this trade, so buyers look at insurance, whether an engineer is involved and what the warranty says. We put those on your site and profile in plain words. Where your state or city does require a license or registration, we show that too. Not legal advice.
Have you worked with foundation repair companies before?
Our published client story is Precision Fenceworks, a Georgia fence company we worked with for 8 years; its CEO describes the results above. We haven't published a foundation repair story. What we bring here is the research on this page and the free review, which looks at how you show for foundation searches in your towns, your Business Profile, your reviews and what ChatGPT says about you.
How long does SEO take?
Usually months, not weeks. How fast depends on your competitors and on how complete your Business Profile and site are today.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. No one can guarantee a spot on Google or in an AI answer. We show you the work and the results.
Is AI SEO extra?
No. AI search optimization is included in SEO in every plan.
