LLM SEO and AI Visibility Agency
Mindflow Marketing helps companies get found on Google and named by the AI engines buyers now ask first: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Founder-led, run from Atlanta, with published pricing and a measurement protocol you can read before you spend a dollar.
LLM SEO is the loosest of the names in this family, people reach for it when GEO feels too academic and AEO feels too old. It is worth pinning down, because the vagueness is where a lot of questionable selling happens.

Mindflow Marketing was founded by Youssef Hodaigui, twenty-five years in search, and he runs every engagement personally.
The office is in Atlanta and every engagement is run from there. LLM SEO is a term, not a place, so no local presence is being claimed anywhere on this page.
Every rate is on the pricing page. No quote call required to learn what this costs.
One company per metro in each service category. Your competitor cannot buy the same seat.
What is AI visibility, and how is it different from SEO?
AI visibility, also called answer engine optimization or AEO, is the practice of getting a business named inside AI-generated answers. SEO earns a ranked link a buyer clicks. AEO earns a mention inside the answer itself, in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, where no click may ever happen.
The two run on overlapping machinery. Google states that its generative features are rooted in its core Search ranking and quality systems, so a page has to be indexed and eligible before it can be quoted. Classic SEO is the floor, not an alternative to it.
What sits above that floor is different work. An assistant is choosing which businesses to name, and it draws on how clearly your company is defined as an entity, how consistently it is described across the web, what independent sources say about it, and whether your pages answer the question in a passage it can lift whole.
Nobody can force a recommendation. Mindflow Marketing builds the entity footprint, the citable pages and the review base the assistants draw on, then scores where you land on twelve frozen buying questions across three platforms each quarter, with the screenshots archived and dated.
LLM SEO is an informal umbrella term for making a business or its content more likely to be understood, retrieved and named by large language models, used loosely to cover the same ground as GEO, AEO and AI visibility, without committing to any one of them.
Where did LLM SEO come from, and what does the work actually cover?
Three things decide whether the label is any use to you: where it came from, what the work can actually reach, and how anyone would know it worked. I keep our opinions out of the table below.
GEO has a paper behind it. AEO has a decade of featured-snippet practice. LLM SEO has neither, it emerged from people searching for the thing they had just watched happen: an assistant answered a question and named somebody, and they wanted to know what that discipline was called.
So the term is honest about its own origin. It says “the SEO-shaped work, but for the language models,” and leaves the specifics to whoever is answering. That vagueness is useful for a search box and unhelpful in a proposal.
It also carries a quiet misconception worth naming: that there is something to optimise inside the model. There is not. You cannot reach the training data, you cannot adjust weights, and prompt tricks aimed at models are the modern equivalent of white text on a white background, ineffective at best.
- It is a colloquialism, not a defined discipline. No paper coined it and no standard governs it, which is exactly why definitions vary by vendor.
- It covers roughly the same work as GEO and AEO. Where it differs is emphasis: LLM SEO points at the model, GEO at the generated answer, AEO at the extracted one.
- “Optimising the model” is not a thing you can buy. You cannot edit training data or steer weights. What you can do is change what the model finds and what other sources say.
- Use it as a search term, not as a spec. If someone sells you LLM SEO, the useful question is which of the six layers they actually work on.
| Condition | What it is | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Term provenance | GEO was coined in a 2023 research paper and points at the generated answer; LLM SEO is a colloquial term that points at the model. | The 2023 research paper that coined GEO, for the first clause; Mindflow observation, not a published source, for the second clause |
| Be present in what the model can reach. | Live browsing pulls from the open web; the underlying model absorbed a snapshot of it. Both reward the same thing, being described consistently in many places rather than brilliantly in one. | Mindflow observation, not a published source |
| Be describable in a sentence. | Models compress. If your business cannot be summarised accurately in one line, the line that gets used will be someone else’s summary of you, or a competitor’s. | Mindflow observation, not a published source |
| Be corroborated. | A single self-published claim carries little weight against several independent sources agreeing. This is why reviews, directories and local press do more for LLM visibility than another homepage rewrite. | Mindflow observation, not a published source |
| Be readable by the crawlers. | Each major assistant has its own user agent, and blocking them, deliberately or via a default in your CDN, removes you from that surface entirely. | Mindflow observation, not a published source |
| Be measurable. | Sample the answers, on a schedule, and keep the screenshots. Everything above is a hypothesis until you do. | Mindflow observation, not a published source |
What we read from that, and this part is our judgement rather than anything the sources state: the label a supplier uses matters far less than how many of those conditions they touch, and a supplier who works only on page copy touches one of them.
Sources: the 2023 research paper that coined GEO, named in the first row above and in the FAQ below. Every other row is Mindflow’s own observation and the Source column says so. No statute, agency dataset or third-party statistic is cited on this page, and none has been invented to fill the gap, so there is no Checked date to give you.

Five pillars run together inside one engagement: local SEO and Google Maps, organic search, AI visibility, reputation and brand SERP, and conversion tracking. Each is reported every month with the denominator stated beside the number, and Share of Answer is scored quarterly, so a figure can be checked instead of believed.
Local SEO and Google Maps
Google Business Profile optimisation and map-grid tracking read across your whole service area, not off a single pin. A grid tells you whether you are losing on trust signals or losing on distance, and those have different fixes.
Organic search
Technical foundations, site architecture and the searches that turn into high-ticket jobs, built from the work you actually closed. Pages built from a keyword tool instead rank you in places your crews will never drive to.
AI visibility and entity work
Entity disambiguation, organisation schema, knowledge-graph alignment and passages written so an assistant can lift them whole. This is the part most people mean when they type LLM SEO into a search box.
Reputation and brand SERP
What a buyer and an assistant both see when they search your name. Corroboration is one of the six conditions in the table above, and this is the pillar that supplies it.
Conversion tracking
Calls and forms tracked through to the booked job. Visibility that never reaches a booked job still costs you the months it took to build, and that bill never appears on an invoice.
Measurement you can audit
Share of Answer across twelve frozen buying questions, three platforms, three runs each, scored out of twelve with screenshots archived and dated.
Read the full methodRankings are never guaranteed. Anything we could not trace to a primary source is absent from this page, not estimated. The audit runs the same six layers described on the pricing page, and Share of Answer is scored quarterly.
How you would know LLM SEO is working
The measurement problem is the reason to be careful with this term. There is no ranking to check, no impressions report, and no console. Anyone offering you a dashboard of “LLM rankings” is inventing a coordinate system that does not exist.
What is real is sampling. Ask the questions your buyers ask, on the platforms they use, more than once, and count how often you are named. X out of 12 is the unit we publish: twelve real buying questions, three platforms, three runs each in clean sessions, counted at two of three. Dated, screenshotted, re-run quarterly.
The full protocol is public, including what it refuses to claim, so you can run it yourself or hold someone else’s number against it. We publish our own results on the tracking page, in both directions.
How the first 90 days work
Every Mindflow Marketing engagement opens with a diagnostic, not a pitch. The first 90 days establish a baseline you can hold us to, fix what is structurally broken, and put the first measured movement on the record.
- Free Visibility Check. The twelve real buying questions for your trade, asked across Google Maps, Google and the assistants. You get the screenshots. No call required to receive it.
- Local Visibility Audit. Crawlability and indexation, entity and schema state, assistant crawler access, map-grid position across your service area, review base, and the competitive gap. Delivered written, with the working shown.
- Baseline measurement. Share of Answer scored before any work begins, so the starting number exists in writing and cannot be revised later.
- Foundations, weeks 1 to 6. Technical fixes, entity and organisation schema, Google Business Profile, and the pages that answer the questions your buyers actually ask.
- Authority and content, weeks 4 to 12. Citable pages, review systems, and the off-site corroboration assistants rely on when deciding whether a company is real.
- First remeasurement. The same twelve questions, the same conditions, scored against the baseline. Movement or no movement, both go in the report.
What has Mindflow Marketing actually produced?
Two clients have given written permission to publish their numbers. Precision Fenceworks is a fence company working four Georgia markets, verified live 2026-06-16. Fireside Antiques is an eCommerce antiques dealer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Search Console and Ahrefs data pulled 2026-06-10.
PRECISION FENCEWORKS · GEORGIA
Second in the Athens map pack and third organic, named by three of the four major assistants with Perplexity giving them as its first pick. In Alpharetta, first organic and third in the map pack, beaten on proximity and not on trust signals.
87 AI mentions across 72 cited pages, and 631 Precision Fenceworks reviews at a 4.9 average. In Lawrenceville, page one organic with zero map presence.
In Atlanta the same client has no reachable map presence against 100,000-plus impressions in sixteen months. Their pin sits in Alpharetta, proximity decides the Google map pack, and no page moves a building.
FIRESIDE ANTIQUES · LOUISIANA
Five of eight tracked core terms ranking strong, with dining tables, armoires, mirrors and coffee tables all recovered to first position after a ranking dip.
A national eCommerce catalogue, not a local service business, which is why it sits here as evidence of method and not as a forecast for your own catalogue or your own street.
Neither of them bought a product called LLM SEO. Both bought the engagement this page describes, and the assistant mentions above are one output of it. Precision Fenceworks is a Georgia fence company that works Athens, Alpharetta, Atlanta and Gwinnett, so read every figure against the market it names.
What transfers between clients is the method: the audit, the frozen questions, the stated denominators and the work ledger. What does not transfer is a promise about your own category.
What we cannot show either: revenue, lead volume and job values. Neither client’s permission covers it. So we cannot tell you whether this visibility became money, and we would rather say that than let a chart imply it. Two clients is not a large portfolio and we are not going to present it as one.
What does LLM SEO cost with Mindflow Marketing?
Mindflow Marketing publishes every rate. A Visibility Check is free. A Local Visibility Audit is $3,500 to $7,500 and credits against your first invoice if you start a monthly partnership within 30 calendar days of delivery. The monthly partnership starts at $3,500 a month on a 90-day initial term, then runs month to month. No setup fee and no annual contract.
The credit caps at that first invoice and does not carry forward. At the bottom of the range a $3,500 audit against a $3,500 first month costs you nothing if you continue. At the top, a $7,500 audit against a $3,500 first month credits $3,500 and the remainder is spent. We would rather you ran that sum at your own desk than found it on an invoice.
One company per metro in each service category. That cap is why the rate does not slide: I cannot sell the same seat twice.
The full ladder, with what sits inside each tier, is on the pricing page.

LLM SEO sits inside a family of names for overlapping work. Here is where this term ends and the next one begins, with a page for each.
Generative engine optimization (GEO)
The formal term for the same territory, with an academic origin and a narrower focus on making a source citable inside a generated answer. If you want a term you can define under pressure, use this one.
Answer engine optimization (AEO)
Older and narrower still, getting a single answer extracted and attributed. Predates LLMs entirely, which is why some people treat “LLM SEO” as the modern replacement. It is closer to a sibling than a successor.
ChatGPT optimization
One platform rather than the category. If your actual question is “why does ChatGPT never mention us,” that page answers it specifically, including what differs about that surface.
AI visibility
The category as we define it, and the term we use ourselves, it covers eligibility and identity as well as content, which the model-flavoured names tend to leave out.
The work covers established home-services companies in roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fencing, garage door and remodeling, plus high-value legal, specialty healthcare and considered-purchase eCommerce.
The common thread is deal value: one won job has to pay for months of the work. The office is in Atlanta and clients are served across Georgia, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina, each listed on the markets page.
This page defines a term and then prices the work behind it. How the work is actually run and reported is on the AI Visibility service page.
Want the short version? The Visibility Glossary keeps one-paragraph definitions; this page keeps the practice.
What else do people ask about LLM SEO?
Is LLM SEO different from GEO, or the same thing with a different name?
Substantially the same work, different emphasis and different provenance. GEO was coined in a 2023 research paper and points at the generated answer; LLM SEO is a colloquial term that points at the model. In practice, agencies use them interchangeably. The distinction that matters is not the label but whether the provider works on identity and eligibility too, or only on page copy.
Can you get my business into a model's training data?
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Training corpora are assembled by the model providers on their own schedule from broad web crawls; there is no submission process and no supplier who has one. What you can influence is how widely and consistently you are described across the web, which is what those crawls see.
Do llms.txt files help?
It is a proposed convention rather than a supported standard, and no major assistant has committed to reading it as a ranking or retrieval input. Publishing one is cheap and harmless, we publish one, but treating it as a lever is a mistake, and any provider leading with it is telling you what they do not have.
Why do different assistants give completely different answers about my business?
Because they are drawing on different sources with different freshness and different weightings, and because generated answers vary between runs by design. Consistent answers across platforms is itself a signal that your entity is solid; wildly divergent ones usually mean the underlying facts about you disagree somewhere.
Should I hire an 'LLM SEO' specialist?
Hire on the answers, not the label. Ask what they measure and how, what they will not promise, and which of the six layers, eligibility, crawler access, extractability, entity stability, citation surfaces, measurement, they actually touch. A specialist who only rewrites pages is doing a fifth of the job.
Where does your business show up in AI answers right now?
The free Visibility Check runs 12 real buying questions for your trade and market across three assistants, your X/12, the screenshots, and the first fix worth making. No sales call.
